The Team
Richard Willis is the MD of Swales & Willis. Originally an archaeologist, he moved into publishing in the 90s and worked as a commissioning editor before founding Swales & Willis with his wife Julie. He is a dedicated football fan both on and off the pitch.
Colin Morgan has been in the book industry for longer than he cares to remember. He became a freelance editor in 1992 and moved to Swales & Willis in 2000. A lover of film and music, he provides daily musical interludes and is never short of an anecdote.
Tamsin Ballard is a qualified translator and studied French, Italian and Chinese at university. Since joining the team in 2007 she has started learning Spanish and German. She is a keen cook, regularly testing new recipes on her colleagues.
Caroline Watson started at Swales & Willis in 2008. She studied International Relations at university and has an interest in gender politics and equality. In her free time she enjoys modern jive and keeping up with the cricket.
